Back to: In Person Workshops Clicker Training this year!
This year, I had the joy of teaching my very first in-person workshop since moving to the Okanagan and settling onto our own horse property — all thanks to ...
… the generous invitation from the Lady Farmer in the Okanagan. It was a truly special experience, and I’m deeply grateful for their support.
They kindly asked me to choose a charity to donate the proceeds to, and the choice was easy. I’ve been volunteering my time clicker training llamas at The Llama Sanctuary in Tappen, BC (Canada) so directing the funds there felt like the perfect fit.
Charity Workshops in 2025
The event combined everything I love: sharing the power of positive reinforcement training, connecting with animal lovers, and supporting a cause close to my heart. It inspired me to do more.
My plans for this year
That’s why I’m excited to announce a new initiative:
In 2025, I plan to offer 12 workshops (in person or online) in support of registered horse rescues and animal charities.
These "Introduction In Clicker Training Rescue Horses" workshops will focus on the benefits of positive reinforcement training for rescue animals — from building trust and strengthening the human-animal bond, to helping horses and other animals overcome trauma and learn new behaviours in a safe, empowering way.
Fundraising events
All proceeds from these fundraising workshops will go directly to the host charity or rescue. It’s my way of giving back and spreading the word about how compassionate, science-based training can truly transform lives — for animals and their people.
Would you like to be a part of this?
If you’re part of a registered horse rescue or animal charity and would love to host a workshop in 2025, I’d love to hear from you.
Let’s make a difference together — one workshop, one animal, one act of kindness at a time.
Happy Horse training,
