From Slow and Sluggish to Responsive and Forward Horse without Whips
Do you want a well-behaved horse that listens to all your cues? Even if you only asked once! Would you like your horse to become enthusiastic about movement training?
Want a ‘Wow’ horse?
Would you like to have a horse who loves his daily exercises?
Who is looking forward to working for you?
Would you like to get rid of your whips and training sticks and start connecting with your horse?
*NEW* Program: Testers needed!
Before I release my 6-week program, ‘From Slow and Sluggish to Responsive and Forward without Whips’, I need testers!
I know my approach works!
Now I want to know what participants really want:
More videos?
More tailored feedback?
Picking up the pace of the lessons and going a bit faster?
Or would you like more time to practice?
Would you like me to go more in-depth?
In short, I’m looking for horse owners with slow or sluggish horses who want to improve their horse-human connection and get a responsive, forward horse to test my program.
What is a ‘slow’ horse
Takes longer than 3 seconds to respond to your cue (whoa, walk, trot, canter).
Think about the response time of your horse. How long does it normally take to start walking, trotting, cantering or come to a solid halt?
Would you say, it takes shorter or longer than 3 seconds?
What is a ‘sluggish’ horse
It takes more than one ask before the horse responds with forward movement (whoa, walk, trot, canter)
The horse needs ‘keep going’ signals (cues).
Without them, he will be slowing down or stop on his own…
Are you asking your horse often more than once to walk, trot or canter?
Is a voice cue only, not enough?
Do you need to move with him, because he will follow you or a target stick. But won’t walk ‘on his own’ (at liberty is a disaster!).
Do you always need a whip or a stick?
Without it, he won’t move?
Would you like him to respond well without them, so you are not depending on whips/sticks in training?
What is a ‘responsive’ horse
Acts within 3 seconds after your cue
Is attentive to your next cue
Exercising and at liberty work is a breeze with a well-trained horse.
Exercising your horse will become the highlight of your day, instead of a chore.
What is a ‘forward’ horse?
Offers an active pace
Keeps going, until your next cue
Keeps a steady pace without asking
Does your horse needs
Who is this for?
This program was originally designed for overweight horses and recovering laminitis horses who resent their exercises. The ‘hard-to-motivate’ horses who can’t be ridden and hate lunging, round penning and other groundwork.
All exercises are for non-ridden horses (excellent for overweight, recovering horses, mini’s or senior horses, but any healthy horse can join)
All exercises are on the ground (no riding experience or arena needed). At liberty and leading will greatly improve!
Training without whips or coercion. No horse lover wants to lose their connection with their horse; they want to bond instead!
PS Feel free to restack! I would appreciate your support.
